What this page is for
A useful writing prompt gives you somewhere to move. It might start with a conversation or a decision that changes the next scene.
The character stays at the center of the prompt. Add a fandom when you want the idea to stay close to an existing world. Leave it out when you want more room to invent.
Use the result for a fanfiction scene, a roleplay setup, or an original story. You can also name a genre, theme, tone, or voice in your own rewrite.
Use it in three steps
Keep the first pass simple. You can reshape the idea later.

- 2Add a fandom when the character belongs to an existing world. Leave it blank for a more open creative writing prompt.
- 3Treat the result as a draft. Change the tone, voice, stakes, or ending until it fits the scene you want to write.

A writing prompt does not need to begin with a crisis. For Raiden Shogun, a simple prompt about taking a private dessert attempt too seriously can open a scene about control and an ordinary mistake.
